Our ministry located in Zambia Africa is launching a groundbreaking initiative directed to create opportunities for widows to become empowered to care for orphans through providing transitional housing and short term skills training in order to empower them to become stable and viable members of the community. It is our desire to release them into the community with economic and spiritual resources that will become a stable force in the life of a child.
Rescue and Empowerment Farm
We are in the process of acquiring 100 acres of land where we intend to have fish farming, animal husbandry, basic business skills training, transitional housing, chapel, and a school. This will be a communal platform from which the widow’s empowerment initiative will be launched.

Sensitization Seminars
One of the ways to empower widows is through training seminars that can be used as sensitization efforts about the rights of orphans and widows.
The seminars and conferences are designed to change the attitudes and behavior of society against widows and orphans in the form of ill treatment and depriving them of their human rights.
Property grabbing is a serious dehumanizing act which is prevalent in Zambia today. The seminars have been conducted on the copper belt, Lusaka, and the Luapula province, where this practice is predominant.
Equipping pastors, teachers and lay people will enable them to reach many more within their communities where this practice is destroying the life of widows and orphans.
Economic Empowerment
When widows fall out of the social and economic latter, they usually end up on the streets with no means of survival being victims of property grabbing; Children are out of school and they are homeless.
Therefore, it is our intention to equip the widow economically by providing basic business skills and provide the initial capital for their business. This business could be in the form of selling merchandise like, fish, vegetables groundnuts, cornmeal etc… We also provide farming implements, seeds and fertilizers.
Counseling
Our organization provides grief counseling to the widows and orphans at the time of loss and thereafter.
Home based care initiative:
This serves to help widows and orphans receive medical assistance within their homes. These nurses provide nourishment for basic foods to fight disease, and dress wounds from AIDS or other illness. They will also retrieve food from the market to help individuals who are in crisis.
Legal Counsel
Provide counsel on what legal action they can take when they become victims of property grabbing and ill treatment. If they need legal representation, we find that for them.
